Grab a tissue or two...
I don't even know where to begin with this wedding. I wanted to start this blog off with a bang and I thought Joe and Joy's French countryside chateau wedding would be perfect. Grab some popcorn and settle in because this is a long one. When Joy first contacted me to photograph her wedding it was just too good to be true. She said I could stay in my own little guest house with two friends of mine who were also attending the wedding. I would be able to provide wedding guests with boudoir shoots throughout the week in the chateau and on the grounds. It was a freaking dream you guys! the chateau was tucked into the countryside hidden from pretty much everything. It was stunning. I spent the week hanging out, shooting boudoir, and spending many late nights drinking wine with the wedding party and talking until the sun started to rise. I felt so welcomed! Fast forward to the day of the wedding. Everyone came together to make sure things went off without a hitch and they did! Joy's hair stylist fell through so I ended up stepping in to try my best to give her a vintage style chignon and it turned out so pretty! so when i say I go above and beyond for my brides I mean it. The wedding was stunning. From the champagne bridesmaid dresses and all the green florals. There was so much love in the air. There also wasn't a single dry eye watching when Joy got down on her knee and said her own special vows to Joe's son Eli. Once the ceremony we moved over to the most delicious french dinner. I snuck outside to take some photos of wedding guests and the bridal party. The bridesmaid's ended up sneaking to the top balcony of the dance floor where they proceeded to pour the dreamiest confetti on the bride and groom while they had their first dance. It was pure magic every second of it. I'm so thankful I was able to be a part of such an amazing celebration. this was a very defining moment in my career as a wedding photographer and I couldn't be more thankful to the Ferrara's for trusting me to capture their very special day.

In Joy's words
Bailey is a true professional. Found through a friend, she joined my fiancé and I (plus 55 friends and family) for a week long stay at our destination wedding Chateau in Lurcy-Levis, France. She photographed our rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception. When asked to include numerous photos of friends and family in attendance for both events, she didn’t hesitate to say yes. The portfolio provided was not only incredible, but heartwarming. I was able to provide each guest with a photo of themselves and their party in every single thank you card following the wedding! She has a creative eye for capturing moments and the pictures of the bride (me!) and groom together are phenomenal! Her portfolio included the simplest touches from staged accessories and decor to candid hugs, laughter and tears throughout the evening! Bailey is a kind, enjoyable soul to be around. A great sense of humor and a saint too...when a hairstylist fell through, she styled my up-do (master of all trades)!! Prices are extremely affordable and the photos were easily accessible for the wedding party and guests online. Thank you Bailey for capturing these moments for us forever. I wish we could do it all over again!
